Sophia Momodu, the baby mama of singer, Davido’s first child, Imade had defended her daughter’s emotional chat with her grandmother.
In a recent Snapchat post, Sophia stirred up reactions when she shared a chat between her daughter and her grandmother, expressing heartbreak over her brother, Ifeanyi’s death, and her father’s neglect.
Imade broke down to her grandma about her singer father not being present in her life which has caused her profound sadness. The disclosure hinted at a strained relationship between father and daughter during challenging times.
Sophia Momodou, while sharing the chat had expressed curiosity about who taught her child to send such elaborate messages.
Many felt the mother of one was launching an attack on her baby daddy and was trying to soil his reputation.
Taking to her Twitter page to defend herself, Sophia stated that Nigerians want her to be the bad guy every time but it’s okay. She made it known that kids don’t lie about their feelings especially when talking to their grandparents.
“Y’all want me to be the bad guy sooooo bad and it’s ok, quite frankly I like being the bad guy Chun-Le. But one thing is for sure, kids don’t lie about how they feel. Especially with their grandparents.
You people think this new generation of kids wouldn’t tell you about yourself when you’re moving mad. Better wake up”.
Recall that Davido and Sophia had a fallen out after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog.
She later went on an extensive rant hinting that all wasn’t well between her and Davido as co-parents.
