US based Nigerian musician, Speed Darlington has taken to his Instagram page to slam United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) for signing popular singer, Wizkid instead of him.
Speed called out the bank in one of his giveaway posts, stating that he wouldn’t be choosing anyone with UBA account, as the bank left him for Wizkid.
“Drop your bank accounts in the comment section, 3 thousand naira per person, 4 people are getting paid today. If it fails today, you will see it tomorrow morning when you wake up. In August 2019, Wizkid joined UBA as their brand ambassador for a deal worth over $3 million (approx. N1,080,000,000). Wizkid and UBA’s chairman, Tony Elumelu have always been close even before the deal.
