Nigerian singer Spyro has sent his well wishes to newlywed Davido and Chioma.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, he recounted how he first met Chioma the night of his show at Hardrock. He revealed that he came to beg the singer at home to come to his event and saw Chioma’s pictures plastered on his walls. Now, the couple is officially married.
Spyro also praises Davido for sticking by him before fame, noting that he doesn’t have many friends in the industry. He stated that Davido deserved the best and expressed his love for them.
“I don’t have a lot of friends in the industry, but you, @davido, have stuck with me way before fame, so e pain me say na video I just de watch all through cos you really deserve the best brother.
As I no sha de my song sha dey make I take that one de see front first.
I am super happy yet again, as I was opportune to be involved in this love story at an early stage.

Spyro isn’t the only one who has sung the praises of Chioma.
A day ago, talent manager Ubi Franklin recalled how Chioma stood by him during his trying times. He revealed that Chioma made sure she called him every day and sometimes just stayed on the phone to hear him cry and then assured him that everything would be okay. He stated that this is the reason he couldn’t skip the wedding.
That wasn’t the first time the talent manager, was singing her praise. Last year, during their traditional wedding, Davido had recounted how in 2018, Davido reached out to him to help manage Chioma and over the years, she has become his sister and they have stood by each other at all times. He stated that knowing Chioma is loving her as he has never met a soul who has had an issue with her.
Similarly, Israel DMW had penned a heartfelt note to Chioma, noting how she deserves to have the entire Lagos being shutdown just for her. He praised her for her good characters as he noted how beauty alone can’t keep a marriage.
