Nigerian celebrities are showing love and support to Big Brother Naija All-Stars runner-up and Pepper Dem winner, Mercy Eke amid her loss at the All-Stars show.
Many thought the former winner would emerge victorious again but the reality star lost to Level Up winner, Ilebaye who pulled 30% votes.
The reality star had made her first official statement, penning an appreciation post to the public.
She appreciated her family, fans, multi-choice, and everyone who stood by her. According to her, words can’t describe how grateful she is to them.
Despite her loss, Mercy Eke doesn’t hold anything against Ilebaye, whom she sent a message to. Noting how she played her game well, she told her to wear her crown, raise her head high and shine forever.
Taking to her comment section, the likes of Rita Dominic, Mercy Aigbe, Iyabo Ojo, Susan Peters, Toke Makinwa, Erica Nlewedim, Swanky Jerry, Anita Joseph, and more sent her love.
Susan Peters wrote, “Lambo or nothing. You are an Amazon, take your flowers baby girl”.
Recall that Anita Joseph, who was a proud supporter of Mercy Eke had celebrated her for still being a tough contender and making them proud.
Expressing pride in her, she celebrated her for being a star, the show, and the moment during the show.
Nollywood actress and proud supporter of Mercy Eke, Iheme Nancy, had come to her defense after her rival, Tacha Akide shaded her.
Tacha, who was a proud supporter of Ilebaye, threw shade at Mercy, stating that she had proven her point while adding that she had made it clear now that Mercy wouldn’t have won her season if not for her disqualification.
Iheme Nancy, who was pissed with her statement slammed her noting how Mercy Eke had more votes than Tacha during their season.
She stated that the reality star wasn’t able to prove any point as Mercy remains the winner of all time and showered love on her.
Mercy and Tacha fell out after their messy fight on the show, which led to Tacha’s disqualification and Mercy Eke’s victory as the winner of the season. Many believed that Tacha would have won her season if not for the fight. Since then, Tacha has held a grudge against Mercy for robbing her of her win.
