Kemi Filani reported that celebrities from all industries are currently at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, for the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2023.
Reality star and actress, Tacha Akide who scored an invite to the prestigious award ceremony left fans bewildered with the cost of her outfit.
Tacha, who was dressed in a blue dress, designed by celebrity designer, Tolu Bally, revealed that her dress is worth $20,000.
Bragging, Tacha stated that though everyone looked amazing on the Black red carpet, nobody comes closer to her.
“Everybody looks AMAZING on the BLACK CARPET TODAY!!! BUT we all know Nobody comes close!!!”.
The reality star went on to share a receipt to shut Doubting Thomas.

Similarly, during the AMVCA 8th edition last year, BBNaija’s Erica Nlewedim and Ife Ennada made headlines for the ridiculous amount they spent on their outfits.
Erica was alleged to have rocked a $794,000 dress to the AMVCA.
The reality star, who was one of the best dressed at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, rocked a green butterfly dress to the event.
The dress was designed by an international designer from Poland, who designed the wedding dress in the American movie, 365 Days.
According to a site, Scorp, Erica’s dress was worth over $794,000 which in Nigerian currency is 469,000,000.
Ifu Ennada, on the other hand, had rocked a dress that cost her more than N5 million.
Ifu Ennada, who was styled by Toyin Lawani of Tiannahplacempire, revealed that her black skull-filled dress was worth $ 1000 (almost 5m).

Cubana revealed that his Agbada was worth 1.5 million, while his sneakers are worth 1 million naira.
Bragging, he stated that not every rich person knows how to enjoy life.
