Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ housemate, Tacha Akide has vented out over the humiliating experience Nigerians face outside the country.
The reality star recounted how she was humiliated at the airport in Dubai.
Tacha revealed that the country has been sending Nigerians back to their country even with their valid visa.
Tacha noted how one is expected to pay an additional fee of N31,000 on return to Nigeria.
Venting out, Tacha tweeted,
“I can’t even believe after spending those long hours in transit!!! After paying and getting your VISA!! Buying ticket too!! Making Dubai plans And you’ll just be sent back like that!! Gosh The humiliation Nigerians face outside Nigeria ehn!! It is just dispiriting. Dubai is really sending Nigerians back to Nigeria even with their valid visas!!! And ontop of that when you reach Nigeria!! You’ll be paying an additional fee of N31,000 for whatever reason I don’t even know!!”.
In similar news, Uche Ogbodo had lamented over the state of things in the country as she shared an embarrassing moment at an airport.
The actress shared a video of Doha City, Qatar’s airport as she questioned when Nigerian would get to such a standard.
She pointed out how the airport almost looked like a state.
Uche Ogbodo recounted how she got lost 3 times while trying to catch her connecting flight.
However, God saved her and she had to run to catch her flight.
“God when abeg, when will my country people begin to enjoy luxurious establishments like this airport?.
Airport too big, e get him own train, road, tunnel, bus etc. Airport be like one state, I even got lost 3 times trying to catch my connecting flight. I swear nah God save me, I started running ooo, no time! Abeg my people get your PVC ooo, we no wan hear shoot bird”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Tacha Akide who won the admiration of her fans after she doled out foodstuff to some residents, and advocated for the need for PVC, had attacked a troll who called her out for publicising her kind gestures.
Tacha melted hearts after she gave out food items with PVC stickers to encourage locals to vote.
She shared the video of her kind gestures saying:
“I’m not doing this because I have too much.. I’m doing this because I understand how important it is to sensitize the LOCALS! If God has blessed you, use it to do GOOD! See you tomorrow DEGEMA! Nigeria will be great AGAIN!”
Many of her fans who were delighted by her kind gestures took to her comment section to hail her. However one particular follower, was unsatisfied with her publicity and thus called her out, telling her that she should have done it secretly without cameras and without making noise about it.
“Do it without stickers, do it with love, do it secretly without cameras, do it without making noise about it, and let the result or the outcome announce the good work. That’s what it means to bless!”. She wrote.
This infuriated Tacha who fired back at her, calling on thunder to strike her mouth.. “May heavy loaded thunder strike your mouth shut you bloody ingrate.” She wrote.
