Big Brother Naija ‘Shine ya eyes’ housemate, Tega Dominic has issued out a public service announcement following backlash for condemning Phyna’s loud behavior.
Kemi Filani news reported that Tega Dominic who doesn’t seem to be a fan of current housemate, Phyna had taken a swipe at her.
The reality star who made headlines after she got intimate with her co-housemate, Boma expressed her displeasure over Phyna.
During an interview with Glitch Africa Studios, Tega described Phyna as a loud person.
Tega stated that she would have asked for voluntary exit if she was in the house with Phyna.
To her, Phyna was annoyingly loud and that blurs her perspective of her.
However, she concurred that the reality star seems to be a sweet girl.
“This is my perspective of Phyna here. I think she is really a sweet girl. I will ask for voluntary exit if I was in the house. Phyna is annoyingly loud and that blurs my perspective of her. I see her as a very sweet person, a very fine girl but she comes with that ‘Who dey’. I was already bored from my season of ‘who dey’…u get…and it’s now here”.
Explaining herself, Tega sent a PSA to Phyna’s fans.
She revealed that she has been getting a lot of vile messages from her fans over her opinion.
Tega stated that she has never brought anyone down. According to her, her opinion on Phyna didn’t come from hate.
Taking back her words, Tega stated that what she meant by “annoyingly” was that she always made noise when people were resting, which isn’t comforting.
“Dear fans of Phyna, I have read the comments on several platforms, and to be very honest, I have been laughing. However, some words were pretty shocking to read. I had been advised not to make this piece, but frankly, I need to set some points straight.
I have seen a comment and even DMS of people saying I am a woman, and I am saying trash to bring another woman down. Please get this straight, all my life, have never made derogatory statements to my friends or anyone, even those who have turned me into Enemies. I have never brought anyone down to elevate me or bring up another, my statements concerning Phyna weren’t from the point of hate; I explain this now to people who judged without even watching the full video.
I said, “Phyna is ‘annoyingly’ loud”. The words ‘annoyingly’ sounds wrong to a lot of people and I take it back, what I meant was her screams sometimes are unnecessarily especially when it’s done in the house when people are resting and no activity, and for me, it isn’t comforting. This doesn’t express that I do not like her; I outrightly stated her qualities before I made that statement. And yes, I would’ve asked for a voluntary exit because it’s a trigger for me, and I wouldn’t want to be in anyone’s way because of a game. Some people say Whitemoney was loud; why didn’t I leave? I’ll you why.
