Cubana Chiefpriest showed support for his Imo State sister Chioma recently, when he thanked Davido for not abandoning her.
Davido responded to Cubana Chiefpriest by blurting out ‘never!’, almost like he couldn’t imagine not marrying her.
The upcoming nuptials between Davido and Chioma has taken the internet by storm, and the release of their pre-wedding photos had netizens on a chokehold.
Chioma also had her bridal shower party, in which Davido was very much present. The couple even had a cute little dance number that melted hearts.
The bridal shower was a surprise for Chioma, organized by Davido. According to Chioma, Davido lured her to the venue by telling her that they were going out for dinner.
Upon arriving at the venue, she found an entirely different scenario, with balloons everywhere, alongside friends and family.
Their wedding is coming up on the 25th of June, 2024, which is in less than twenty-four hours, and spirits are high.
A good number of celebrities have received their wedding invites, with the likes of skit maker OGB openly planning to sell his invite for the sum of ten-million Naira.
Controversial activist Very Dark Man also chimed in on the upcoming wedding, calling Chioma a good woman, while recounting how he met her back in 2022.
While there’s been mostly good comments about Davido and Chioma’s wedding, there are still some sour patches that have come up.
As earlier reported by Kemi Filani, Wizkid threw shade at the intending couple in a tweet where he said he would be saying a prayer for understanding women.
The term ‘understanding woman’ has often been used to describe Chioma by internet trolls. Reason being that Davido has often been accused of infidelity.
Wizkid’s tweet may not have been made with the intention of shading Davido and Chioma, but the timing may be termed as suspicious.
