Popular singer and rapper Falz revealed in a recent interview the reason why he keeps his personal life away from the media, and it was quite interesting.
The singer said that whenever you put everything out to the public, that is when the public gets into your business, and it doesn’t end well.
Falz advised that people should only put out as much as they can on social media, and nothing more.
Going forward, Falz was asked to choose between music and acting, and he went with a generic answer, stating that he was an entertainer, and as such, he couldn’t choose between either of them.
On the matter of not putting your personal life in public, BBNaija’s Vee Iye made a tweet a few weeks back, stating that if you want to enjoy your relationship, you shouldn’t put it on social media.
Vee’s tweet was in response to the drama surrounding Sharon Ooja’s marriage when she revealed her husband’s identify.
Netizens dug up evidence that he had been married thrice, in less than twenty four hours after his identity was revealed.
Erica Nlewedim also made a brief commentary about the drama, stating that Nigerians don’t like seeing people happy.
Falz must have taken his vow of privacy seriously because he has never been accurately linked to anyone romantically.
The last time netizens linked him romantically to someone was years ago with Simi, and the evidence is clear that netizens were wrong.
Besides his music and acting which he puts out, Falz basically lives a low key life, only popping up once in a while to exercise his right to be an activist.
On the matter of his activism, Falz revealed a while ago that he took a step back from it to focus on himself for a bit, but he hasn’t abandoned it.
