Earlier this week, some Nigerians who left the country a few years back started a challenge where photos of them leaving the country and current photos were being compared.
#LeavingNigerian made trends on Twitter as people claimed the country’s suffering and challenges are becoming unbearable.
Reacting to the trend, Nollywood actress Ada Karl in a post shared on her Instastories, said the eagerness and mentality of leaving the country had destroyed many Nigerian youths’ future.
According to the actress, it is essential to believe in oneself, stay focused, work harder and smarter as there are still thousands of people who had become successful without leaving Nigeria.
She wrote: This mentality of i want to leave this country has destroyed the future of many Nigerian youths.
Please believe in yourself, where you find yourself, stay focus, work harder and smarter. Watch you legit succeed in this same Nigeria; many have.
