Following the rediscovery of an old Facebook post in which Prophet Samuel King, a Nigerian cleric, predicted the death of artist Davido’s kid Ifeanyi, King is currently trending online.
Three-year-old Davido’s baby drowned on Monday night in the singer’s swimming pool at home in Banana Island, Lagos state.
When Ifeanyi’s death was announced, it shocked Nigeria’s online community to its very core. Many people were devastated by the unfortunate event.
Following Ifeanyi’s passing, Davido’s foster brother said in a post on his Instagram stories that the family had previously been given a prophecy about the tragedy but had ignored it.
Amid this, a post that was shared on Facebook in January by Prophet Samuel warning about the impending danger on Ifeanyi started making the rounds online.
In the post, he had asked the singer to pray against the arrow of death, especially against his son.
“PRAY FOR DAVID ADELEKE aka Davido . In a vision I saw 2022 with so many opportunities for him, reward and awards! This is the biggest year for him even until 2023! But let’s pray Against any arrow of death ESPECIALLY against his son! Any any close loved ones. God revealed this to me That it will happen if prayers are not MADE. I see T and Y as a very significant clue to this prophecy as well. THINGS ARE HAPPENING!” The post read.
However, the clergyman, has now spoken out about the prophesy in an updated post that he titled “GLOBAL ACCURATE PROPHECY CONFIRMED.”
Prophet Samuel, who claimed that the prophecy was in two parts, asked Davido to reach out to him to avert a mirror of this tragic incident in 2023.
He said;
“GLOBAL ACCURATE PROPHECY CONFIRMED|Davido‘s Son has died , fulfilling the prophecy given in 7th of JANUARY 2022 by the PROPHET ,with a call of warning to pray for his son! More highlights will still be given towards this PROPHECY as there are hidden CLUES that needs to be shared in prayers only with the family of David Adeleke and His family!”

Nigerian Celebrities Mourn Davido’s son
Nigerian celebrities like Burna Boy, Olamide, Omoni Oboli and others have taken to their social media accounts to mourn Ifeanyi.
Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba had confirmed the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The comic actor, who had been devastated over the painful news called for prayers on the singer and his girlfriend, Chioma.
Williams revealed how he said to himself, he wouldn’t believe anything on social media until he confirmed it.
Williams Uchemba, on confirming the news stated that he has been upset, pained and confused.
He pointed out how no one deserved to feel such pain.
“I said won’t believe anything on SM until I personally I prayed for it to be a lie. I am upset, pained and confused. Nobody deserves to feel this pain. Please say a prayer for David, Chioma and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up little one”.
