Kemi Filani News earlier reported the sad passing of popular Nigerian singer, Davido’s first son, Ifeanyi, and the internet has never remained the same.
It was gathered that Ifeanyi Adeleke got drowned a few days after his third birthday which was on October 20.
A source close to the family stated, “The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said under anonymity.
He was rushed Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
It was further gathered his parents, Davido and Chioma had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
Prior to Ifeanyi’s death, Davido earlier today was spotted teaching him how to swim.
Nigerian celebrities, politicians, fans of the singer and different social media users have continued to mourn Ifeanyi.
Calling for the prosecution of his Nannies, one Cutie_julls took to Instagram and wrote:
Come on na, this is so painful. Everyone who relates to David behind the cameras will tell you he is even sweeter and nicer in real life.
You know when bad things happens to good people, it hits really hard.
David is there for everybody. If you see David and someone beefing, abeg that beef ends on social media. David that will fire his staffs on social media and will go back to even be taking care of them more than when they used to be his staff 😊. Most people around him don’t need to be there cuz there is no job role for them but David will still keep them just so they can get paid. He will drink and eat from same plate and cup with his gateman, cleaner etc, he doesn’t care. If not because he is a famous, you wouldn’t even know who is Oga and go is worker when he is with his staff.
They all receive their salaries in full but David will still give money for their children’s school fees, pay medical bills, buy and dash clothes, I mean practically give them financial support in every possible way. And yet, someone couldn’t do the one simple task they have been assigned and paid to do? Wow! This hurts.. Not this with kind of boss they have na. This hurts 😭
Gosh! He doesn’t deserve this. Knowing how much he loves his kids especially Ify been his hier, this is not fair at all. God, why do bad things happen to good people? Wow! 💔😭
