Three more women have come out to accuse Oscar-Award winning actor, Cuba Gooding Jr, of sexual assault.
Recall that the actor was accused a few months back of groping a lady at a night club in New York.
The of the new accusers claim Cba Gooding Jr grabbed their behind at New York City restaurants in 2008 and 2013. The claims made by the third is unclear.
A statement signed by the New York Police Department reads in part: “The NYPD takes sexual assault and rape cases extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so we can perform a comprehensive investigation, and offer support and services to survivors.”
The actor is yet to be charged for the new allegations. However, he has been charged for the accusation filed by a woman in June who accused him of groping her at a Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge in Manhattan.
Gooding is expected back in court today, 15th of October.
One of his lawyers who reacted to the new allegations expressed disbelief saying “They can’t simply add, it has to be taken to a grand jury, and if they didn’t do it now it’s not likely they’ll do it again,” Heller said.
“These ‘other’ cases, the district attorney did not have the confidence or the evidence that they are prosecutable and that’s why they were not (included) in the indictment.”
