Nigerian singer Timini Dakolo has shared his love story with his wife, Busola Dakola.
Taking to his Instagram page to share loved-up photos of them, he revealed that their relationship started as a friendship, and now, his wife has 3 children for him. He disclosed that they went from going out to, I want to change and now, please help me cream my back.
Poking fun at his wife, he stated that he won at the end.

Reacting to his post, Bisola noted how Ijaw boys no dey gree as she noted how he once told her he was tired of the friend zone.
“Ijaw boy no dey gree. I remember when you said I am tired of this friend zone, interesting how time flies”.
In 2022, Timi Dakolo and Busola celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. Timi reminisced how his wife still says he is a local Ijaw man because he likes to eat garri and fisherman soup in the morning. According to Timi Dakolo, his wife always says the meal is not proper, and after ten years of their marriage, she has yet to answer who set the rules that garri and fisherman soup are not appropriate in the morning.
Busola, on her part, expressed excitement as she toasted to more years of good health, sound mind, love, joy, peace, prosperity, and abundance.
Last year, Timi was a proud husband as Busola bagged a Master’s Degree in International Business from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. Dakolo shared photos from the graduation ceremony while singing her praises. He noted how he can now rest from her constant complaints about the struggles of combining her education with motherhood.
Two years back, the award-winning singer pulled off an emotional surprise visit to his wife and kids, who were all schooling overseas. One of his sons got so emotional that he wept uncontrollably. Timi revealed that he had deceived his wife by making her believe he didn’t know when he would join them, unknowingly to her, that he had a plan for them.
