Nigerian singer Tiwa Savãge has broken down on social media over visa difficulties.
On her Snapchat page, she said she doesn’t know if her visa was approved or not; all she knows is that her passport isn’t out. Tiwa said she has a huge shoot in London, and if she misses it, she will miss so many opportunities surrounding her album and its release date.
The single mother said she feels like crying, and to worsen it, all her travel plans for her son’s birthday tomorrow have also been ruined. Tiwa said she will switch off and pray that God gives life and hope.
“I don’t even know whether my visa was approved or not. All I know is that my passport is not out. I have a huge shoot in London, and if I miss it, I miss so many opportunities surrounding my album and its release date. I feel like crying.
Jamil’s birthday is tomorrow, and the travel plans I had for him are all ruined. My heart is so heavy. I’m just going to switch off today. Praying that God gives life and hope tomorrow”.
Tiwa had made a public service announcement to those who always ask her for money. The mother of one revealed that she is also struggling with the current economy. To make matters worse, she is a single mother. The award-winning songstress said she hustles all day and night to make ends meet.
Early this year, the Afrobeat singer had shared a video on her Instagram story of her swimming underwater with sharks, as she ticked it off her bucket list. The All Over hitmaker looked quite comfortable under the water as she wore an oxygen mask.
Some of her fans had expressed concern for the mother of one over fear of the sharks attacking her.
Reacting to it, Tiwa noted how people are worried about her swimming with sharks, yet the music industry is filled with more dangerous people.
In another post, she stated that she can never worry when God is the one who watches over her.
