Award-winning singer, Tiwa Savage has caused a stir online as she made a shocking revelation about her hit song, Somebody’s Son.
The mother of one shared more details about the topped charting song during a concert in Lagos over the weekend.
While many assumed Somebody’s Son from her album, Water & Garri, was a relationship song that centered on finding one’s partner, Tiwa Savage proved us wrong.
She disclosed that she was referring to Jesus Christ.
Tiwa Savage made this known as she headlined the BudxLagos FIFA kick-off Concert at Eko Hotel alongside Davido and others.
During her performance, Tiwa Savage paused to share the inspiration behind the song.
She baffled many when she stated that she was referring to Jesus Christ. Tiwa Savage emphasized how everyone was looking for him.
“I am going to tl you guys this story, when I did this song, yeah, a lot of people were like “this is a sure hit but only girls are going to sing this song, guys are not going to sing it. And they were like Tiwa you are taking a risk by making it your first single.
I said to them don’t worry one day I am going to tell this story. You see somebody’s son I was talking about is actually Jesus Christ. For real, so whether you’re a man or woman we are all looking for that somebody’s son right”.

Kemi Filani news recalls Tiwa Savage had raised eyebrows as she hinted at finding love again.
The mother of one who had been on tour for her ‘Water & Garri’ album had revealed how an admirer who was with her in her previous shows had indicated his desire to join her in Sweden.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t be there and though, Tiwa Savage was unhappy about it, all that changed when she saw the ladies in her concert.
According to Tiwa, the ladies were all beautiful and if her admirer was here, he would have left her for them.
She said,
“There is one guy that has been toasting me ehnn. So he was with me at the last show, and he was saying to me that I don’t think I can make it here and I was kind of sad but I am happy he didn’t come here, because you see all this fine girls ….I am happy he went home”.
