Pastor Bolaji Idowu has come out once again to halt the enjoyment of big spenders in Nigeria.
This time around, he spoke about the trending debate of Aseobi girls, and the expenses they have because of the cost involved.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu said some Aseobi girls are charged 350,000, which is equivalent to a two-month salary for other people.
He went on to expose the hassle culture in the Aseobi world by relaying how some brides say that if you’re their friend, you’ll buy their Aseobi at exorbitant prices.
In relating the matter to the Bible, Pastor Bolaji made an example of Judas Iscariot, stating that he ate on the same table with Jesus Christ, yet he betrayed him.
He went on to say that it is not everyone who buys Aseobi at exorbitant amounts that is a ‘friend’ to the bride, just like Judas was to Jesus Christ.
The message was concluded on the premise of parents, who tend to spend more than what they have. He spoke against parents who want their kids to school abroad, simply because their friends are doing so.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu seems to be on a row to stop exorbitant spending from Nigerians, as he recently spoke about Nigerians and cutting their coat according to their sizes.
He spoke against the culture of buying fake designers, just to blend in, and look rich, while living a ‘fake life’.
Nigerians seem to be under a lot of heat from Nigerian Pastors recently. Just a few months ago, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya spoke about marriage.
He said that unless a man has a tangible job, he shouldn’t even consider getting married. This brought about a huge debate online, with a lot of people disagreeing with him.
Recently, Pastor Adebayo of the RCCG church came under fire for asking Nigerians to pray when they’re facing hard times.
