Media personality Toke Makinwa recently took to social media to share a message that she received from one of her overzealous aunties who begged her to please get married.
Toke posted the snap of the WhatsApp message her aunty had sent her concerning her relationship life and in response to this statement, Toke laughed it off while appreciating her aunty. She also humorously hinted at her Nigerian nationality encouraging such behavior.
Some years back, recall that Toke Makinwa had revealed that she was ready to give marriage a second chance. She had announced this as she turned 35.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the media personality stated that this would be her last year as a single lady, as she boldly expressed that she was finally ready to give love and marriage a second chance. Also recall that back in September of 2021, Toke Makinwa had pleaded with Nigerian men to please give rich and beautiful girls a chance.
Toke Makinwa, who was once married to fitness expert Maje, opened up about the challenges she and other beautiful girls go through at the hands of their potential lovers.
She revealed that if you are not a beautiful girl, men would naturally assume that you would be humble and that you would be an easy to access. Toke also pondered on why some ugly girls end up with beautiful guys, while her and other beautiful girls are left single. She pleaded with the men to please consider them too.
