In a recent video that surfaced the internet, Toke Makinwa and singer D’Banj could be seen hanging out among friends, and while the cameras were still rolling, Toke started recounting all the good things he has done for her.
According to Toke Makinwa, D’Banj had pledged the sum of ten-million Naira at her book launch a few years ago, and by 8am the following day, he sent the money to her.
She went on to say that D’Banj didn’t demand for anything in return, unlike most Nigerian men.
Toke Makinwa said other men would have asked her if she was free in the evening, or they would’ve asked for ‘something’ in return.
This statement by Toke Makinwa spurred some mixed reactions from netizens, with some calling her bluff, and claiming that she wasn’t saying the truth.
