Toke Makinwa has revealed how she found herself working as an OAP at Rhythm 93.7 FM. She made this known while taking her time to thank fellow OAP, IK Osakioduwa in an Instagram post where she revealed that he literally hired her.

”Spent the better part of my morning talking to @ikosakioduwa and I just want to take out some time to appreciate this yummy man. Ik literally hired me on radio, I learnt sitting in on his show and he’s looked out for me since then. Extremely focused, a fine gentleman and lover of God. I appreciate you today as always bro, you’ve gone ahead and achieved so much and you keep pushing for more. The key to staying at the top is really focusing on your craft. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, be teachable and remain humble ? and ohh never forget the ones who put you on”.
Well, it’s a good thing Toke Makinwa appreciated him on time, cos IK Osakioduwa would have left the land of the living just yesterday. If not for the grace of God, he would have lost his life as he was almost hit by a speeding truck. He narrated on Twitter how he escaped what would have been a terrible accident.

”God just saved me from what would have been a terrible accident. While waiting at a stop light I noticed a speeding truck that didn’t seem to be slowing down. Even though the light was red I maneuvered to the front of the car on my right. I got out of the way in time.
Unfortunately, the truck still crashed into the car that was on my left, sending it right across the intersection. It also hit a car that was coming from the opposite side. Thank God for his mercy and protection. I believe everyone walked away with their lives”.
