Toke Makinwa, Queen Mercy Atang, and Biodun Omoborty, among other Nigerian celebrities, have reacted to the divorce announcement of singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba and Annie Idibia.
Kemi Filani had reported that 2Face announced his official separation from his wife and mother of two. He stated that they had been separated for a while.
After deleting a post that alleged his account was hacked, he made a video of himself confirming the news.
2Face declared that everything written on the page was made by him and his account was not hacked.
Celebrities took to the video’s comment section to bash his insensitivity and rudeness in how he announced their divorce.
Toke Makinwa wrote, “This is wrong on all levels and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here. Bring it on. If you think she’s alone let me tell you here that you’ll have to fight all of us”
Vendors homes wrote, “You didn’t have to come online to say it though. It’s not fair. I don’t know what the issue is but this woman married you with 5 kids when the whole world was against you and she kept defending you still even on live TV and stood by you when everyone kept telling her to leave. If at all anyone should give the PSA, it should have been her irrespective of whatever transpired. I come in peace.”
