Media personality Toke Makinwa has chided a Twitter user who called her childless for criticising those who steal and destroy properties.
On August 1st, Nigerians across different states held a protest to kick against the hunger and hardship in the country. Despite it being a peaceful protest, many properties were destroyed and stolen, which left Toke Makinwa disappointed.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, she stated that destroying properties and stealing from fellow Nigerians passing through the same hardship isn’t right.
“Destroying properties and stealing from your fellow Nigerians who are passing through the same hardship is not right at all. This is very sad”.
Slamming her, a Twitter user identified as Odumeje Catacrism stated that her tweet is the reason why she tried IVF twice, and it didn’t work. He alleged that this is why the media personality had snatched so many of her girlfriends’ men, and non has stuck with her. He added that she consistently needs to be a classist and a bully while she comes from a low class and understands the struggle.
“Baby girl, this is why you have tried IVF 2 times, and non has worked.
This is why you have snatched so many of your girlfriends’ men, and none has stuck by you; this consistent need to be a classist and a bully while you come from a low class yourself and understand the struggle”.
Replying to him, Toke made him know that calling her childless would not change her current situation, as she noted how she isn’t the cause of his problem. Taking a swipe at him, Toke stated that she hopes he achieves half of what she has achieved.
“I hope you get to achieve half of what I have achieved. Calling me childless will not change your current situation, no be me, do you?”.
A week back, Toke gave a shout-out to some unnamed married women who used to judge her, noting how life has visited them. Toke stated that this is one of the reasons she doesn’t judge anyone, as she noted how some of these women claim to be married yet are available for men.
