Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh is in an emotional state as she remembers her late stepmother, who passed away in 2022.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she stated that though today isn’t her memorial, she feels the need to celebrate a rare soul. She described her day as exceptionally difficult.
Tonto revealed that she only knew her stepmom as a mom figure all her life and today, she wishes she could be held by her stepmom and hear her tell her about her love for her.
Expressing heartbreak over her demise, she admitted that she never deserved to have someone like her as a stepmother.
“Today has been exceptionally difficult. I have only known my stepmom as a mom figure all my life. Today I just want to be held by my stepmom and hear her tell me how much she loves me.
Kiaa my tears are blood, I miss this woman so much it hurts. I swear we never deserve her, we didn’t.

In a previous post, she prayed for her fans and followers not to lose their mother when their star begins to shine.

Kemi Filani reported that Tonto Dikeh’s stepmother passed on the 16th of January 2022.
Returning to social media after recovering from the shock, Tonto said she could not describe the pain she felt, as she expressed how saddened it is for God to love seeing his best soldiers by his side.
After her stepmother funeral, Tonto in a post stated that she wouldn’t forgive God for the pain she has been made to pass through.
