It is the birthday of Soji Alabi, the husband of award-winning gospel singer Tope Alabi.
To celebrate his day, Tope took to her Instagram page to share sweet words about him, describing him as her Pope and choice now and forever.
She noted how he has been a very solid pillar of support, backbone, teacher, prophet, friend and a lot more to me. She expressed gratitude to God for the day she met him and how happy she was to do life with him.
Wishing him a happy birthday, Tope rained prayers on her husband.

Just a few days back, Veteran actor Olaiya Igwe had expressed regret at disappointing Tope Alabi and her husband on their wedding day. Olaiya said he had promised to lend his newly purchased Mercedes-Benz V-Boot but didn’t fulfil his promise. The veteran added that though he sought her forgiveness, he still deals with the guilt of disappointing her, especially after the tables turn on him.
In other news, Tope offered powerful marital advice to her followers. While sharing an epic throwback photo of her and her husband, she reflected on their marital journey, noting how it has been a long time since she came into the ministry with her choice (husband). She advised the youths in the house to never run ahead of their God.
Years back, Soji Alabi was hit with paternity scandal, after one Mayegun Olaoye, claimed to be the biological father of Tope Alabi’s daughter, Ayomikun. He alleged that Tope had blocked every avenue for him to know his biological daughter in the past 22 years.
Responding, Ayomikun in a chat with PUNCH denounced the Mayegun Olaoye and clearly stated that the only father she knows is her mother’s husband, Soji Alabi.
Speaking out amid the scandal, Tope Alabi showered encomiums on her husband and manager, Soji Alabi.
