Toyin Abraham and other Nollywood stars except Faithia Balogun have taken out time to celebrate veteran actress, Remi surutu on her birthday today.
Taking to Instagram to announce her birthday, Remi Surutu wrote on Instagram;
‘I am a year older on this beautiful day… And it’s all possible because of… Your incredible love and mercies, God today, I go down on my knees to Thank you from the depth of my soul for blessing me so lavishly with Your choicest blessings! I’m forever Grateful o lord’
Some of her colleagues also took out time to celebrate her on their various pages except Faithia Balogun.
KFN recalls that at the party, a misunderstanding broke out between 2 popular actresses, veteran actress, Remi Oshodi popularly known as Remi Surutu who was seated on a side of the hall and Faithia Balogun became a mini pandemonium until concerned guests waded in to separate them and frayed nerves calmed.
Viral reports had claimed then that Remi Surutu has been having grudges with Faithia Balogun because of her “disrespectful” act and she has vowed to teach her some lessons. Other rumour mongers added that Faithia Balogun has been romantically linked with the London based celebrant whom Remi regards, as her younger brother. Some even said actress Iyabo Ojo must have fed Remi Surutu with many of Faithia Balogun’s alleged escapades, as the two are not also on good terms.
