Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has gotten into trouble with her fans and many Nigerians over her presidential choice.
As Nigerians gear up for the 2023 General election, many celebrities are already pitching tents with various political parties.
The wife of actor Kolawole Ajeyemi stirred huge criticisms as she jumped in on the Tinubu’s trend.
The APC presidential aspirant shared a video of him working out on a fitness bike to prove that he is strong, healthy, and capable of ruling the country.
In a since-deleted post, Toyin Abraham shared a picture on her Instagram page as she questioned Nigerians on what else they need to prove that the presidential aspirant wouldn’t be dying soon.
However, Toyin stated clearly that she wasn’t campaigning for any candidate, but was just jumping on trending topic.
She added that she is a responsible citizen with PVC and power to choose who to vote for.
“What else does Tinubu need to do to prove that the is not dying today? I am not campaigning for any candidate, just jumping on trending topic. I am just a responsible citizen with PVC and power to choose who to vote for”.
Unfortunately for her, her joke was to expensive for Nigerians as they angrily lashed out at her. Many threatened to boycott her movies.

Joke Silva and Mercy Johnson campaign for Tinubu
This is coming a day after Nigerians expressed disappointment in some of their favourite Nollywood stars over their support for Tinubu.
A list of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team had made its way to the internet and had created an uproar.
Top Nollywood actresses, Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Fausat Balogun, Bahama Sadau and more made the list.
In the 70-page campaign document, no fewer than 33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were listed under the Creative and Entertainment Category.
They included veteran thespian, Joke Silva who chairs the category, Fausat Balogun, Rahama Sadau, Remi Oshodi,Mercy Johnson Okojie, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello, among others.
However, actress Rahama Sadau released a PSA disassociating herself from the list.
Following the news, many had expressed disappointment in Joke Silva and Mercy Johnson for pitching tent with the party.
