Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has penned a tearful tribute to her godmother Tayo Fakorede as she celebrates her birthday today, 3rd April 2022.
In the lengthy post on her Instagram page, Toyin Abraham said Tayo Fakorede means so much to her and her entire family, and she’s grateful their paths crossed.
Toyin Abraham said Tayo Fakorede has always been a source of inspiration to her and has come through for her family in numerous ways.
According to Toyin Abraham, her godmother, Tayo Fakorede, has shown her nothing but love and had fought many battles for her, including those she is unaware of.
She wrote: Happy Birthday godmother @tayofak! I will try not to tear up as i write this … Mummy, you mean so much to me and my entire family. I am grateful to God that our paths crossed. You have been a source of inspiration to me, you are strong, resilient, kind, beautiful, loving, wonderful, patient, understanding and calm. You are fierce, courageous and firm yet gentle. I sometimes wonder how you combine so much characters. You are highly exceptional Mummy.
You have come through for my family and I in ways i can’t begin to mention. You have shown me nothing but love .. You have taken a stand for me and fought many battles on my behalf, even battles that i am unaware of. You would go any length to make sure that i am well and fine.
You show up for me.. like the sun and you show up really bright. I am a better person today because i have a Mother like you. There are days when i doubt my self, you never stop encouraging and pushing me to do better. You believe so much in me, that i sometimes can not understand why?
You are an epitome of beauty and strength! You are the definition of a virtuous woman. You lead your home with integrity and discipline.
Mummy, i bless God for your life, for where he is taking you too. You are hardworking and deserving of all the good things life has to offer.
On this day, i want you to know that you mean the world to me , and i want the world to know that i love you so much. I pray for better days for you, I pray that the lord God of Isreal continues to renew your strength like the eagles, you will walk and not faint.
