Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has cried out over the plot to pull her down.
The mother of one, who was a proud supporter of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, revealed that her support for him is costing her a lot as many are trying to bring her down.
Toyin Abraham, who released her movie Ijakumo the Born Again Stripper on Netflix, revealed that several Whatsapp group has been created to badmouth her movie.
She questioned when choosing her preferred candidate has become a crime.
“You all went to create a Whatsapp group cos of Ijakumo the born-again stripper, pls continue maybe it’s today. I will kuku break the table. You all will tell the world why choosing my candidate is a crime and yours isn’t. Loni yi mo mura yin wa”.
In another tweet, Toyin Abraham made it known that the WhatsApp group was aimed at badmouthing her movie.
“Yes, their political Whatsapp group and plan to come and bad mouth my work cos of my choice. Today na today they will know that everyone, has a devil inside him or her”.
Trouble looms for Toyin Abraham as netizens petition her brands
This isn’t surprising as during the election, Netizens had petitioned one of the brands Toyin Abraham Ajewole works for.
A post shared online by controversial blogger, Esabod claimed that one of the numerous fans that the actress lost petitioned a popular brand against Toyin Abraham.
The unidentified writer claimed they would be boycotting the product if they don’t cease to make Toyin Abraham the face of their market.
“This is to inform you that some of us will start boycotting our product due to one of your brand ambassadors Toyin Abraham, she is not a good and patriotic Nigerian for choosing to support a candidate and apolitical party who has brought us huge losses and pains. We want you to terminate her contract with your company,” the unknown petitioner wrote.
Toyin Abraham cries out over bullying and insults on social media
Reacting to the several bullying and insults, Toyin Abraham had cried.
In an interview, the mother of one stated that she has never seen this type of trolling before in her entire life.
Toyin noted how many went the extra mile to petition her brands and urge Netflix to take down her movies.
She added that she was intimidated, bullied, insulted, and cursed because she supported the now President-elect.
“There is life after social media. Tomorrow I can tell Portable to come and be president of Nigeria and I will support him.
The intimidation, bullying, abuses, curses in Nigeria, I have never seen this before in my entire life”.
