Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has exchanged words with trolls who mocked her over the shape of her body.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the filmmaker was mocked online after a video of her dancing made rounds online. The mother of one, who is gearing up for her next Cinema movie, Alakada Bahd and Boujee was captioned on a movie set, showing off her youthful dance step.
The viral clip left many trolling the actress over her body and Toyin Abraham, who was unbothered had reshared the video on her Twitter page with a caption poking fun of herself. She called herself a shapeless woman, who looks like Amoeba and Johnny Bravo.
“Very shapeless woman, Amoeba, Johnny Bravo”.
Taking to her comment section, one troll expressed gratitude that the movie star is aware of her shapeless body. He tweeted, “Thank God you know”.
Toyin replied saying she knows she is shapeless, “Of course I know I’m shapeless”.
Another troll disagreed with her, stating that he knows she is pain. He offered her tissues in case she needs one to wipe her tears. “No lie, e pain you. I have tissues in case you need”.
Toyin responded by making him know she can’t be pain since she is the one who publicly posted the video, “This one no pain cos na me post am and I know I’m shapeless”.
Just a day back, her rival and colleague, Funke Akindele had replied a male troll for body shaming her and Toyin Abraham. The troll had advised the actresses to shed weight as he noted how they had changed shape and signature, which isn’t good for their career. He stated that itâs unwise they are getting fat and yet feeling unbothered, thinking it’s an evidence of good living.
Funke Akindele replied him with a little insult, as she appreciated him for the unsolicited advice.
Similarly, Ibrahim Chatta had poked fun at Toyin Abraham over her weight and tummy as she visited his film village. He teased the actress not to eat too much because of her stomach and in defence, Toyin noted how she had lost weight as she revealed she only eats chew gums.
In other news, the box office filmmaker had issued a warning to her overzealous fans for responding negatively to her trolls. She pleaded and warned those creating a fan page with her name to cease bullying or cursing anyone.
The mother of two told her fans how she is being strengthened by the Lord and she is not moved by any curse, abuse or bully from trolls.
