A while ago, there were several reports emerged accusing former BBNaija season 5 housemate, Trikytee of demanding a payment of 500 thousand naira before he would participate in the EndSARS protest in Bayelsa.
According to MC Ijawpikin the reality star mentioned that the 500 thousand Naira would serve as his appearance fee because he is Lagos based and has nothing to do with Bayelsa protesters.
Taking to social media, a Twitter user by the identity GloryBee shed more light on the revelation and captioned
“LMAOO, TRICKY TEE SAID WE SHOULD PAY HIM 500K FOR APPEARANCE FEE.. JUST TO COME AND LEND HIS VOICE IN #BAYELSAPROTEST“.
However, Trikytee whose real names are Timmy Sinclair in his reaction, debunked the allegations leveled against him.
“The news making rounds online is completely false and should be treated as such. I am for a good Nigeria and an end to police brutality. I have been out almost every other day in Lagos protesting alongside concerned Nigerian youths. #EndSARS”, he wrote on Twitter.
