Nigerian blogger, Tunde Ednut has taken to social media to rejoice following the release of his friend, Very Dark Man.
It is no longer news that the social media activist was released last night and photos of him post-prison had gone viral.
Taking to his Instagram page to celebrate him, Tunde welcomed him back as he noted how men are behind the scenes. He emphasized that the men are strong, however, he didn’t mention names but had a little hint.
“Don’t play!!! Welcome back home. Men dey behind the scene. You enter, dem go comot you. Strong men dey!! Make I no mention too many names. You can know some of them from my previous post”.
Also rejoicing over the news of his release was Cubana Chief Priest, who compared him to Jesus Christ because he was released on Easter Day. He revealed that just like Jesus Christ, he came out on Easter Sunday.
Kemi Filani reported a week back that the socialite was arrested by actress, Tonto Dikeh for cyberbullying and threat to life. Recall that he had accused the actress of being part of the GistLover blog formation, which led to several death threats from haters of the blog, and in return, she had arrested him for his statements, which lacked evidence.
The social media activist was supposed to spend only 3 days in detention but because of his heavy bail condition, and the powers behind his arrest, he spent extra days in a cell.
Tunde Ednut had stated that the socialite would become more popular when he comes out of detention.
Explaining further, he noted how many who have been arrested in Nigeria always become bigger and more popular once they are released. He added that it is what one does after hé or she comes out that matters the most.
Tackling him, Nkechi, who has beef with VDM, questioned how his popularity helped Nigeria and if it would reduce the prices of things in the market. She stated that if the government decides to mess one up, the connections they have won’t be able to save them.
Slamming him for spilling trash, she noted how everyone can easily jump on trending issues to stay relevant because of data and ring light. The movie star added that people should know when to shut up.
