Nigerian blogger, influencer, and entertainer, Tunde Ednut has stirred the internet with his declaration about social media activist, Very Dark Man.
Taking to his Instagram page, he stated that the socialite, who was arrested on Friday by actress, Tonto Dikeh, would become more popular when he comes out of detention.
Explaining further, he noted how many who have been arrested in Nigeria always become bigger and more popular once they are released. He added that it is what one does after hé or she comes out that matters the most.
“The funny thing is that when Very Dark Man comes out, he will become more popular.
Have you ever noticed that anytime Police arrest someone in Nigeria, you become bigger and more popular once you get released?
Now, it is what you do with it immediately you come out that matters”.
Kemi Filani reported on Friday that Tonto Dikeh had arrested Very Dark Man for cyberbullying and threat to life. The threat to life stemmed from him claiming that the actress co-runs the popular anonymous blog, Gistlover, which has been bringing people down.
As a result of his false allegation, those who have been trying to unravel the identity of the anonymous blog have been sending death threats to the actress, which has led her to arrest Very Dark Man who is currently in a cell in Abuja.
Recall that in the past months, VDM has gained fame for his outspokenness on issues in the country, which could at times be controversial or hurtful.
The socialite, who doesn’t seem to be a fan of Tonto, had criticized her for affiliating herself with the All Progressives Congress (APC), a political party in Nigeria known for its thuggery. He also accused her of joining a party known for sending thugs to intimidate people.
He had also clashed with her when she sought the release of Mohbad’s body for a proper burial. He contested her request, revealing that the Nigerian police wouldn’t release the body until their investigation into the cause of Mohbad’s death was complete.
We wonder what Tonto will think of Tunde Ednut’s statement about Very Dark Man. Recall that she had tackled her friend and colleague, Iyabo Ojo over her relationship with the blogger.
She pointed out Tunde has ganged up to intimidate, harass, and drown Iyabo’s public advocacy, high-tower reputation, and unparalleled social empowerment because of his selfishness.
Slamming Tunde Ednut, she called him out for supporting Very Dark Man, who she described as despicable, mind-boggling, and a concocted figment.
