Nollywood actress, Uche Ebere has knocked her junior colleague, Yul Edochie over his statement on Igbo families.
A day back, Yul Edochie had spoken out on the beef and envy among his people, the Igbos, noting how many of them are bearing malice against each other because their parents bad-mouthed the other to them.
Yul added that there is beef and envy in almost every extended family in Igbo land and yet, on Sundays, they go to church, which makes no sense to him.
Reacting to it, Uche Ebere called him out for his hypocrisy as she admonished him to practice what he preaches. She told him to remove the log of wood in his eyes, so he could see well to remove others.
“Mr Hypocrite, go and practice what you are preaching. Remove the log of wood in your eyes so you can see well to remove it from another person’s eyes”.
Last year, Yul Edochie made a similar statement as he expressed disappointment with the high rate of jealousy among Igbos. Urging them to do better, he noted how some Igbos who are doing well in their lives make their family members their biggest hater.
The son of veteran, Pete Edochie had posed an important question to the public as he preached on love. He pondered on why it is hard for people to reason well, as he questioned how many people have to die, before realizing that life is temporary.
He had also made a clarion call to his fans and followers on social media about the need to spread love across and beyond. He voiced out that there’s so much hate and envy in the world and there’s a need to kill it with love.
