Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has condemned the constant attacks by fans of May Edochie against her estranged husband, Yul Edochie and his wife, Judy Austin.
On his Instagram page, he admonished May to borrow wisdom from Iyabo Ojo, as he noted how the popular actress is still using her husband’s surname, yet her fans aren’t insulting him. He further noted how Iyabo’s personality doesn’t entertain such and would caution any fan attacking her ex.
He stated that if May can’t caution her fans to stop bullying the father of her kids, then she should drop his surname, as he questioned if his name is the secret behind her brand deals and endorsements.

Yes, Aunty IYABO is still using her ex-husband’s NAME, but have you ever seen her FANS going to INSULT her ex-husband? NO, and I know her, she’s a GOOD woman, if she sees any of her fans creating any PAGE on social media to RIDICULE her ex-husband, she will immediately make Videos to tell them to STOP. Why? Because she’s WISE. So, why can’t my Queen May borrow WISDOM from her?
If you will not make a POST to tell your fans to stop insulting the FATHER of your Pikin, why don’t you remove your husband’s name from your social media? Or is Yul’s GREAT and MIGHTY Name giving you endorsement deals? “
In another post, he stated that if she doesn’t want to do it for Yul, she should do it for her former father-in-law, Pete Edochie, as he noted how it will cost her nothing to show leadership by making such a video. Uche reminded her of how Pete always supported her, praised her and even supported her over Yul and Judy.

Uche’s switch of support to Yul is surprising, as the actor was on May’s side following their separation.
Last year, Maduagwu had slammed Yul for claiming to create the trending name ‘Nwunye Odogwu’. He pointed out how his colleagues were creating wedding anniversaries while he was creating names. Advising him, he told Yul to go to church for prayers.
Also, Maduagwu had lambasted Yul over his Father’s Day message to men, advising them against sleeping with people’s wives. He pointed out the hypocrisy at which Yul was sleeping with a married woman, Judy, before she became his second wife, as he stated that the actor needed church prayers and gave kudos to his estranged wife, May, for enduring with him.
