Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo has shown her support for her colleague, Adanma who is facing legal action over the death of Junior Pope.
It is no longer news that the actress and producer was behind the film that claimed the lives of Junior Pope and others.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Uche stated that Adanma was only a victim of circumstances by being the producer of the job as most producers have taken such risks before.
Telling her to stand strong, she questioned what exactly it was her crime for people to be calling for her arrest as she noted how Adanma is a young woman hustling to help herself and her family.
She stated that the producer didn’t cause the accident as she also risked her own life as she had also entered the boat without a life jacket. Begging Nigerians to forgive her, she added that the movie star meant well for Junior Pope and had even paid him.

ADANMA DID NOT CAUSE THE ACCIDENT! She even Risked her own life, I saw when she entered the boat without a Life Jacket too. It could have been her boat also that crashed.

Also making a case for her, Jide Awobona noted how such an unfortunate incident could have befallen anybody, as he stated that it is a norm in Nollywood, and when one refuses to do certain things, they are being tagged as difficult and called unprofessional.
Kemi Filani reported that many had blamed the actress and producer for killing the actor and other crew members for her carelessness. Her colleague, Sarah Martins had slammed her but had later tendered an apology after Destiny Etiko and Uju Okoli blasted her.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria released a public statement, banning actors and actresses from starring in Adanma Luke’s movies till further notice. Her movie, which claimed the life of Junior Pope and crew members has been suspended indefinitely.
