Nigerian talent manager, Ubi Franklin has given an update on the unfortunate incident of his friend’s daughter who was raped by her class mates.
Kemi Filani news reported earlier that Ubi Franklin narrated how his friend’s daughter was gang raped in Dubai.
He revealed that the 10 year old was selected to represent her school a the World School Games in Dubai and was raped by her fellow students.
To worsen it, they video taped and posted the rape video on Instagram and the school concealed it for a month.
Ubi Franklin stated that the parents found out when another parent showed them the video which had been circulating on Instagram.
Ubi Franklin added that he has spent the last 1 hour listening to confessional statements by some teachers and he is begging for the incident to be a dream.
He wrote, “Just got off the phone with a friend of mine. His 10 years old daughter was selected to represent her school at the World School Games in Dubai. His daughter was raped by fellow students, video tapped and posted on Instagram and the school concealed it for a month. He found out on his own when another parent called his wife and showed his wife the video of his 10 year old being circulated on Instagram. I have spent the last 1hour listening to confessional statements by some teachers and I am begging this should rather be a dream”.
In an update to his post, Ubi Franklin revealed that the young lady has been indefinitely suspended from her school.
Revealing the school’s identity as Chrisland School, he recounted how the school management deceived the girl’s parents that they were taking her for Covid test, however, they conducted a pregnancy test for her.
The talent manager noted how he is still unable to grasp what his happening.
The school on their part, gave reason for the suspension.
The school management claimed that they suspended her because of her improper behavior. According to them, she had participated in a “Truth and Dare” game after the lights out which prompted the rape.
The school management added that such behavior wouldn’t be condone until the parents ensure that she is punished, adequately counselled and rehabilitated.
The news has generated backlash as many blasted the school management.
