Big Brother Naija former housemate and chef Uriel Oputa has admonished Nigerians to mind their business.
In an Instagram story, she clarified that certain things are nobody’s business. She admonished the public to stop tapping into people’s blessings, explaining that they don’t know the sacrifice, process, pain, and journey the person went through.
Uriel advised them to tap into their own blessing, work on their own lane, and stay focused on their path.
The reality went on to list things that are nobody’s business. She added that it is one’s life, journey, and story, and one doesn’t owe anyone any explanation.
“Ladīes and Gentlemen, let’s clarify something today,
There are certain things that are nobody’s business – and I mean nobody.
Let’s begin:
Let me tap into your blessing – Stop that. Don’t tap into what you don’t understand. You don’t know the sacrifice, the process, the pain and the journey.
Tap into your own blessing, work your own lane, stay focused on your path.
Simple!
Now, let’s list the things that are absolutely nobody’s business:
- How you make your money – Not their business
- When you’re giving birth – Not their business
- Who you give birth with – still not their business
- When you’re getting married? Not their business
- Who you’re dating – Not their business
- The age of your partner – Not their business
- Your divorce or why it happened – Again, not their business

Back in April, the BBNaija former housemate had offered to adopt the baby dumped by the riverside in Kogi State. Uriel offered to raise and care for the baby, as she promised that the baby would never go hungry in her care.
In different news, Uriel had spoken on entitlement, describing it as a form of bondage. The reality star explained that when one becomes a constant receiver without gratitude or the ability to recognise what they’ve been given, they lose the power to grow. True wisdom lies in acknowledging what you
receive, using it to elevate yourself, and sharing that knowledge to become a better person.
In another post, the celebrity chef gave relationship advice to women, noting how she had learnt the hard way when it came to men. She noted how women put in efforts to prove they’re good girlfriends, and yet end up being ditched. She stated that men know from day one if they see a future with you, and house chores don’t change their minds.
