Big Brother Naija’s former ‘Lockdown’ housemate, Vee Iye has reacted to her ex-boyfriend, Neo Akpofure’s revelation on why they couldn’t make things work between them after their break-up.
Neo, who is currently in the All Stars show, while conversing with Neo Akpofure, revealed that Vee was trying to get back with him, 9 months after they broke up.
He stated that the beef they had was little and to date, he doesn’t know why she made a big deal out of nothing.
Neo disclosed that when they last spoke after their broke up, Vee reopened old wounds and brought up her beef with his cousin, Venita as a reason for their relationship drama.
According to him, Vee was still holding a grudge against his cousin and there was no way he could patch things up with her when she had an issue with Venita.
He added that he had to take a stand that things wouldn’t work between them.
“One of the reasons why I didn’t give my ex (Vee) a second chance was that 9 months after we broke up, she wanted to come back to me but was still holding grudges with my cousin (Venita). I had to take a stand that it won’t work btw us.
“And I’m like can’t break up with me after 9 months and you’re trying to come back and you’re still telling me you’re holding onto a grudge with my family. Someone you’re not supposed to. I will not inspire you to separate from your family. And she was just going off in harsh tones”, he said.
Reacting to it, via the micro-blogging platform, Twitter now known as X, Vee Iye stated that he was capping.
According to her, Neo had no evidence to back up his claims.
“No evidence”, she tweeted.

Recall that Neo dated Vee Iye, while they were in the Lockdown Big Brother house and after the show.
Their break up came as a shock to many who anticipated their relationship graduating into marriage.
According to reports, Vee Iye’s issue with his cousin, Venita Akpofure was one of the many reasons why they broke up.
In a chat with some Twitter users, Vee suggested that Venita did her bad while she was still with Neo.
Venita, wasn’t a big fan of the couple, as she had gone on a rant expressing her displeasure on how Neo was placing his love life above other things.

In an interview with Stephanie Coker for her podcast, Me, Her and Everything, Vee revealed that she and Neo ended amicably without any drama.
According to her, their relationship was good till things turned sour, and then they decided to pathways.
Vee Iye admitted that she was hurt over their break-up as she never thought that it would badly affect her.
Neo Akpofure, on the other hand, had claimed that Vee wanted him back.
He made this known on Toke Makinwa’s podcast, where he considered himself one of those men, whose exes regret losing them.
Neo has since moved on from their break-up and is rumoured to be dating reality star, Beauty Tukura.
