Nollywood actress and Big Brother Naija alumni, Venita Akpofure has queried the motive behind Fancy Acholonu’s continuous tell-all about Alex Ekubo.
Recall that for the past weeks social media has been awashed with controversies surrounding Alec Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu’s failed engagement.
Taking to the micro blogging platform, Venita Akpofure queried Fancy Acholonu motive for slandering Alex Ekubo’s name despite them not being married or co-parenting.
Venita stated that with Fancy’s exposing Alex Ekubo, it would be hard for future partners to build trust with her.
She noted how every woman in the world has endured betrayals, cheating and deception, but no one died from it, hence she doesn’t see reasons for Fancy’s outburst.
“This Girl Sha…won’t be easy for future partners to build trust with you AT ALL. Almost every woman in this world has AT some point be deceived/betrayed/cheated on. It’s wrong but nobody died. There are no kids, property or legalities involved. What is actually your MOTIVE?”.
Fancy Acholonu finally reveals reason for their break-up
This is coming after Fancy Acholonu finally revealed reasons for their split.
In an exclusive interview with Popular blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus, she revealed that the actor, whose sexuality has become a subject of discussion, had told her to get intimate with other men while they were dating.
For her, this was the last straw in their relationship as she had been enduring his narcissism, lies, cheating and gaslighting.
Fancy disclosed that their relationship took a nosedive for the worse after they got engaged. She explained that he became more controlling and verbally abusive and that they argued so much to the point of it almost getting physical.
“Alexx is extremely narcissistic. The charming personality he shows to everyone was not who he was to me. Behind those smiles of our happy photos he was always lying, cheating, and gaslighting me. The day after we got engaged, it became worse. He then became more controlling, and verbally abusive. We argued so much and it was close to becoming physical, I was scared of his rage. I told my sister and documented for record sake in case anything happened”.
One major red flag that made me devastated was that he told me he won’t sleep with me but I should go and sleep with other men. Imagine telling that to your fiancée that has kept herself for you for 5 years. At that moment I realised he didn’t truly love me. It started going downhill from there. Emotional abuse.”
Addressing his sister’s accusations, Fancy stated that she had sex with Alex in January, this year, after he begged to see her. Though, shocked that he wanted them to get intimate, Fancy succumbed to his demands as she still had feelings for him.
This update came after a previous interview with SDK, where she claimed she didn’t have sex with Alex Ekubo.
Fancy exposes Alex Ekubo’s sexuality
Fancy Acholonu revealed that for the five years they dated, he never had intimacy with her.
“I tried my best. He wanted to get back with me as much as I did. We’ve been at this for one year. But he felt since I broke up with him I should do more of the work. I was fine with that but his methods are cruel and constantly public. His sexuality is not the reason I broke up with him. I’m very open minded so regardless of what he prefers, love is love for me. I loved him for his personality and heart nothing more. He didn’t want to be with me intimately which was confusing and difficult for me to understand especially for 5 years so it did affect my self esteem as I kept myself for him and when he would cheat with curvy women he wouldn’t perform with them either so I don’t know, I can’t confirm or deny his sexuality but for me, I loved him despite all and he still found ways to hurt me.” Read more here.
