Iyabo Ojo’s beef with Very Dark Man just got more interesting, as she recently dragged Seun Kuti into the mix.
The Nollywood actress made a video, detailing the genesis of her issue with Very Dark Man, as a form of expository to Seun Kuti so he could understand the situation.
She said that the issue started during Mohbad’s case, around when his autopsy was meant to be consulted.
Iyabo Ojo stated that the camera recording Very Dark Man was insisting on getting from Mohbad’s house couldn’t be made available because there was no camera in the house at the point.
She also said that while Very Dark Man was insisting that a DNA test should be consulted on Mohbad and his son, his body had already been rid of major organs that was to be used for autopsy, and could also be used to conduct a DNA test.
Going forward, Iyabo Ojo said that Very Dark Man frustrated Mohbad’s case, as though he wanted to be the only activist in Nigeria.
She also stated that activism started before Very Dark Man was born, and she has also been in the game for a long time.
Iyabo Ojo also mentioned Paul Okoye’s involvement in their beef, citing that he was the one that stopped her one more than one occasion from pursuing her case with Very Dark Man.
What seemed to hit the nail in the coffin was when Iyabo Ojo said that Very Dark Man had accused her and Tonto Dikeh on syphoning funds from Nigerians during her fight for Mohbad’s case.
Iyabo Ojo said that herself and Tonto Dikeh used their personal funds to finance the case, and that personally, she was flying between Lagos and Abuja just to get justice for Mohbad.
Finally, she said that she would be pursuing a police case against Very Dark Man, and he would prove when she stole money from Nigerians while fighting Mohbad’s case.
Seun Kuti’s involvement in this case was due to the fact that he made a video, supporting Very Dark Man and stating that older people needed to be cautioned, even by young people.
