Popular Tiktoker, Martins Vincent Otse popularly referred to as Very Dark Man has sent a message to his haters after singer, Davido followed him on Instagram.
Taking his social media page, the Tiktoker made them know that their opinion of him doesn’t matter anymore as long as he is recognized by Davido, whom he crowns, as the number one Afrobeat artiste in the world.
He noted how many come to his DMs to troll and bully him, calling him dirty and broke. Some even go as far as trolling his family, forgetting that he is human and can be emotional.
However, despite the hurting things they say to him, he isn’t bothered anymore and has found comfort in his new friendship with Davido. He shared a screenshot of the DM Davido sent to him, where he expressed how much he enjoys his skits and content.
“In as much as I come out as someone who is emotionally strong, you should also consider that I am Human. I can never understand why I get insulted and bullied, because of my opinion. Some people go as far as coming into my DMs to insult me and my family uncalled for because of my opinion. They broke shame me, calling me dirty, but it’s fine.
Anytime I want to think about that, I check my DMs and I see a message from Davido, he said he gbadun me and he follows me. That means if I am sad, he is now my guy, I will text him and he will console me.
If the number one Afrobeat artiste in the world is following me, then who told you that your opinion matters, all you have to do is insult me”.
Taking to comment section, many noted how the hatred and trolls from netizens is what pushes him forward.

Recall that in one of his posts, Very Dark Man revealed how he almost ended his life because actress, Nkechi Blessing broke shamed him.
The two had traded words on social media after he accused the movie star of doing ads for a fake Skincare brand. Nkechi Blessing, who does not let sleeping dogs lie, had laid heavy curses on him, revealing that he lives in a one-room apartment and was struggling financially.
This took a sad toll on Very Dark Man’s mental and emotional well-being, and in a candid admission, he revealed that the derogatory comments she had made had nearly pushed him to end his life.
The social media warrior had also earned backlash after he called out actress, Uche Jombo, accusing her of being a fraud.
Slamming her for her fake advertisement, he noted how Uche, as well as many celebrities, don’t use many of the products they advertise and only promote them for their gain.
