It is a sad time for fans and lovers of self-acclaimed activist, Martins Vincent Otse better known as Very Dark Man following his inability to be released from detention.
Kemi Filani has learned that the social media activist would be marking this year Easter’s celebration in detention as though he was able to meet his bail conditions, the Police boss wasn’t available to sign. According to reports, his bail conditions were met late and as such, the head of the Police was unavailable to sign his papers. The source revealed that hopefully he would be released on Tuesday.
“The final part of Very Dark Man’s bail conditions were met late and the Police Oga was not there to sign, he will likely be out by Tuesday by God’s grace”.
Reacting to it, while some felt sad for him, others derived joy in his predicament.

It’s been a week since the social media activist was locked up in detention in Abuja by Tonto Dikeh for cyberbullying and he is yet to secure bail.
Speaking out, his lawyer expressed belief that the police would be professional enough to release him on bail. However, if they fail to do so, the law will take its due course.
His lawyer revealed those behind the arrest which include actresses Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and singer, Samklef, whom he has had beef with in the past few months.
Weighing into it, media personality, Kelly Hassino had revealed why the activist was still locked up despite having friends like Davido, Cubana Chief Priest, Tunde Ednut, and more as friends. In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, he stated that some powers at the top are currently against him. He added that no protest or calls can save him.
Musical artist Samklef revealed that Very Dark Man was going to sleep inside the cell for one more night. He expressed that while Very Darkman was supposed to be released on Tuesday because blogger Tunde Ednut had gone to his social media page to post about the release, it would be delayed. He hinted at the fact that the actions by Tunde Ednut may have prompted higher authorities to decide that Very Darkman would stay one more night in a cell, as he advised him not to brag next time.
He further went on to namedrop Tunde Ednut, Davido, Seun Kuti and hinted at Don Jazzy being the main people who were trying to champion the release of Very Darkman.
