This is a very sad post to compile! of course, death is inevitable but it is PAINFUL! We are just into 2020 and the Nigerian entertainment industry has lost some of its prominent talents to the cold hands of death.

Toyosi Arigbabuwo
Veteran Yoruba actor, Toyosi Arigbabuwo reportedly died at his residence located at Ile-Alli area, along the Apete-Arola Road in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
According to sources close to the late entertainer, he died on 13th January, 2020 in his house after a long battle with an undisclosed ailment.
Until his death, Arigbabuwo was the Public Relations Officer of the Muslim Community in Apete-Awotan-Ayegun and environs in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Victor Olaiya
Legendary Trumpet and highlife musician, Victor Olaiya is among the celebrities who kicked the bucket in the first quarter of 2020. The singer died at the age of 89 according to the record label Evergreen Music Company who announced his passing. The late Victor Olaiya ruled the airwaves in the late 1950s and early 1960s with a sound profoundly incited by Ghanaian highlife.
Professor Vincent Chukwuemeka Ike
Prominent Nigerian novelist, Professor Vincent Chukwuemeka Ike, is amongst celebrities who have passed in the first quarter of 2020. The novelist was said to have passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 88. The renowned novelist was the first indigenous registrar of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
Nollywood actor, Alkali Mathew died few day ago in a movie set in Nassarawa state. The sad announcement was made by film make, Dimba Atiya.

The year 2020 started on a heart-crushing note for the movie industry as one of their star actresses, Jennifer Omole who suddenly died on the 3rd of January 2020. According to the reports, it was gathered that the 33-year-old actress died in Spain on January 3rd and was buried immediately at Villarejo de Salvanes, Madrid.
