Nollywood actors have reacted to the devastating news of alleged domestic violence between celebrity auto-dealer, IVD and his wife, Bimbo.
KFN reported that the wife of the celebrity auto-dealer was in critical condition after burning down their house.
Actors, Junior Pope and Victoria Inyama reacted to the devastating news.
Junior Pope stated that once a man-beater puts a ring on a woman’s finger, it only marks the genesis of more beatings.
Advising the female gender, he cautioned them to never ignore the signs while dating such people.
“The moment he puts a finger on you, that’s the Genesis…from a finger to the full palm, them punching, then brutality and much later body bag…. My dear sisters never you ignore the signs while dating him…. The signs don’t hide.
Victoria Inyama also wrote, “19yrs…..burnt beyond recognition… Hmmmmmmm”.
IVD’s wife in critical condition as she burns down their Lagos mansion
Bimbo Ogbonna, the wife of the Chief Executive Officer of IVD Autos, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD had burnt down their Lagos mansion.
Kemi Filani news learnt that the wife of the celebrity businessman, narrowly escaped death after burning their home in Lagos.
According to reports, Bimbo was in pains at a hospital after she was almost burnt to death during a brawl with her husband.
It was gathered that the incident happened at their residence in Megamound estate, Lekki, Lagos on Wednesday, October 12.
Sources, said that Bimbo had confronted her husband over the constant beatings she received from him and a fight ensued.
The source, who called for help, rushed her and IVD to the hospital.
Unfortunately, Bimbo was burnt beyond recognition.
Bimbo calls out husband, IVD for assaulting her
Recall that in 2020, Bimbo had called him out in a series of Instagram post for domestic violence.
Instablog9ja reported that she was beaten till she lost consciousness by the auto-dealer.
Coming out to confirm the reports, Bimbo noted that she had lived in self denial for 19 years as her family kept supporting her just to ensure that her husband rises and what she has gotten in return are serial cheating and beatings.
She revealed that IVD, who established himself as an astute businessman of many trades had at so many times pointed his gun at her in the presence of their kids and the last she had was when he beat her because of his brother.
Bimbo, also revealed that she had had an affair with a man, after filing for divorce from her husband.
According to her, she met someone who attracted her romantically because of the way he treated her, and he cherished her as well. She explained that this man had been calling her for a long time while her husband was traveling and would not have time.
She made it clear that her relationship with the man was not sexual, but she knew she liked the man because he treated her with respect and he was always there for her when she was depressed.
Bimbo said IVD took her phone and saw the messages between her entangled lover and herself, he got angry and sent her and her children out of the house around 11pm.
However, the couple reunited, following his apology to her and they went on to celebrate 11years anniversary.
