Social media users are reacting to a trending video of Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo attempting to handshake billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote.
In the video posted on Obi Cubana’s Instagram page, Alex, Cubana and IK Ogbonna had linked up with Dangote and Femi Otedola at a foreign hotel where he was ignored. In the clip, Cubana exchanged pleasantries with Dangote, and Ekubo followed suit by attempting to shake the businessman; unfortunately for him, Dangote’s attention was on Cubana.
Cubana captioned the video with, “As u wake up, thank God for life. Pray for Grace, amen.

The video which has since gone viral has elicited mixed reactions with some arguing that Dangote shook the actor’s hand but Otedola blocked it, while others expressed pain for Ekubo.

Similarly, late last year, Governor Adeleke sparked outrage on social media after a video of him snubbing the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, made rounds online. In the clip, the two were at an event when the Ooni stood up to greet the Governor, stretching his hands, which Governor Adeleke snubbed.
The video left many embarrassed for the monarch, while others defended Adeleke’s action, noting how the King wasn’t supposed to shake hands with anyone.
