Nigerian content creator and actress Anita Asuoha better known as Warri Pikin is celebrating one year of undergoing weight loss surgery.
Taking to her Instagram page to reflect on the past year, she revealed that she dealt with so much, from life threatening sicknesses to event cancellations and depression until she decided to get a weight loss surgery.
One year later, she is from from all the sicknesses and is happy and healthy. She however, admitted that it wasn’t easy undergoing Gastric sleeve surgery as she is burdened with constant heart burn, throwing up, and excess skin. According t her, the entire healing process has been fought, but God has been faithful.
The entertainer expressed gratitude to her husband and all who encouraged her, stood by her and loved her through the journey. She also gave a special thanks to her critics and haters, as she made them know it turned out good for her.
She added that she believes undergoing surgery is the best decisions she has ever made and now, she is living her best life.
“Wow! It’s ONE YEAR already and all I feel right now is so much gratitude to God, and to everyone who supported me.
Just a year ago, I was dealing with so much, from life threatening sicknesses, to event cancellations and depression, until I decided to get a weight loss surgery.
One year later, I am free from all the sicknesses I was diagnosed with and I am happy and healthy.

Last year, Warri Pikin shed light on her weight loss journey, admitting that she underwent weight loss surgery, which was not easy, and required a lot of courage from her.
She candidly disclosed that her decision was rooted in health concerns, and was influenced by her husband.
Many who weren’t pleased, had slammed her over her surgical procedure, as they stated that she looked more beautiful with her former body, and Warri Pikin had hit back, expressing desire for them to experience what she went through.
Months back, Warri Pikin had shared some of the challenges she has been facing following her surgery.
She enlightened her followers about the changes her body has undergone after the surgery, revealing the things she is enduring to enjoy her new body.
