Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor, Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule popularly known as Okey Bakassi has taken to social media to celebrate his 20th wedding anniversary with his wife, Ezinne.
In a video released, the comic actor marvelled at the growth of their love from how they started the journey of 20 years to date.
Recounting his challenges in marriage, he revealed there were times nobody believed in their love, but they stood to fight for it. Also, starting off with his wife and children as a middle-class citizen in a BQ and having to stay apart due to the nature of his job were not so easy, but they pulled through.
The father of three showered love on his beautiful wife as they toast to 20 years of love, sacrifice, friendship and tolerance.
He wrote:
Wow it’s 20yrs already…. I still remember the many love letters….our humble beginning in that Festac BQ…many people doubted, but we believed….the wedding in PH. The kids came….Dera, Fechi and Cheta. The challenges…lonely nights apart. It has not been easy but God has been with us.
Together we started…..Together we have grown…..we’ll age Together my darling wife. I love you Zizi….even the world knows ❤
