Nigerian singer Davido took to the X app to hype up the upcoming birthday of his wife Chioma Rowland, popularly known as Chef Chi.
In his post, Davido wrote;
“My wifes birthday in a bit !! We’re running mad!!!!!! We must celebrate a great woman.”
He seemed really excited about it, and since Davido is known for going all out, Chef Chi’s birthday is bound to be a hit.
Davido and Chef Chi may be all lovey dovey now but things haven’t always been smooth between them, as they have had their fair share of issues.
Shortly after the late Ifeanyi was born, Davido and Chef Chi got into a riff that led to their separation, and rumor had it that it was because Davido welcomed another child with a London based makeup artist.
It was also rumored that while they were apart, Chef Chi got into a relationship with a Dubai based man, but the relationship didn’t work out due to unknown reasons.
After a while, Davido and Chef Chi got back together, but their happiness was short lived when they lost Ifeanyi in a drowning accident.
After Ifeanyi’s death, Davido and Chef Chi tied the knot officially, after being engaged for years.
Shortly after their wedding, Davido and Chef Chi welcomed a set of twins, and things have been on a smooth sail since then.
Davido often posts Chef Chi on his social media, and he hyped her up to the envy of single people.
Although Davido is fully functional on social media, Chef Chi hasn’t been active online since the death of Ifeanyi. Upon investigation, Kemi Filani discovered that she hasn’t made a post on her Instagram page since the loss of her son.
Chef Chi’s absence on social media hasn’t stopped her from attending functions with her husband, as she’s often seen with him.
