Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye of PSquare has poured encomium on Peter Gregory Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party in the just concluded 2023 presidential election.
Peter Okoye who is a strong supporter of Peter Obi took to his Instagram story to list out the things Petr Obi has achieved with the youths during his campaign to be president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
Okoye recalled how Peter Obi engaged the youths in the role of politics without minding if they were card-carrying members of the party. He further noted that he took his campaign to various states in the country without attaching money to it.
Recounting how the Labour Party candidate lost the election, Okoye said the party won effortlessly but was robbed.
He wrote: “Peter Obi took Nigerian youths to the primaries, most of us never understood what delegates do, he took us to another party we built it with him without being card carrying members, he took us on a shishiless campaign, we went all out in different cities, he took us to the pools, we won effortlesslesy but were robbed, he is now taking us to see how the judiciary works, if this is not an institution of learning, I don’t know what is.
“Absolutely amazing @PeterObi this is what Nigerian youths are saying about you… Thank you. A new Nigeria is still possible”.
Comedian AY showers praises on Peter Obi amid election loss
Kemi Filani recalls that Comedian AY has penned a heartfelt tribute to the former Governor of Anambra State and Labour party’s presidential candidate in the just concluded election, Peter Obi, for his unwavering commitment to building a better Nigeria.
Even though Obi lost to Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election, in a recent social media post, AY praised Obi for his courage, hard work, and ambition and expressed his pride in Peter Obi’s plans for the future of the country.
He wrote: “From the very day you honoured my open invitation to speak with Nigerians concerning the 2023 elections, I became proud of you and, what you represent”.
AY went on to encourage Obi to stay true to his genuine intentions for the country, and assured him of his unwavering support, no matter what the future holds.
He penned: “Till this very minute, you still make a lot of people feel so proud of your courage, handwork, ambition, and plans for a better Nigeria. Continue to be honest with your genuine intentions for our country, Nigeria. No matter what you do in your life. Just know that i will always be supporting you”.
