In a recent development, newly married reality TV star, Queen Mercy Atang has taken to her Instagram story to tell women not to settle for less.
She expressed that when a man loves you, you’ll know immediately based on the way he acts and that women should not settle.
This statement was made following a report that Prince Harry renounced his British residency and listed US as his new country of residence based on the way that the British people treated his wife, Meghan Markle. In her words, she had this to say,
Dear woman, when he loves you, you will know with the way he acts. Please don’t settle.
Recall that in March of 2023, Queen had tied the knot with doctor David Oyekanmi in a beautiful traditional and civil wedding ceremony.
Taking to her Instagram page hours ago, she shared loved-up photos of her and her husband twinning in white.
She had also expressed that her husband was the one she wants to love for the rest of her life.
A few days before that they had , held their traditional wedding in Queen’s hometown, Akwa Ibom. Videos from the event are currently making rounds online.
In one of the videos, Queen could be seen adorning herself with makeup and attire as she prepared for her introduction. In another, she proudly showed off her traditional outfit. Queen wore a blue-coloured outfit and David wore blue Agbada.
Queen had also gleefully announced on social media that her husband David, had paid for her birthday in full.
